We had a 1000 am flight. The airplane took off from east to west and went quite a ways out into the airspace above the Pacific Ocean before turning around.
We ended up with a view of the Colorado River in the vicinity of Lake Mohave which is immediately downstream of Hoover Dam (upstream of Hoover Dam is Lake Mead).
The Rockies had plenty of snow on them in the area just west of the Denver airport.
It was dark when we got to Reagan Airport - no pictures.
